Polaroid Originals – The original is back
Digital Relaunch
Working out of Polaroid Originals offices in Berlin, my role was to design and execute the UI of the brand new e-commerce site and online magazine. Working across animation, art direction and design, I helped translate the revamped brand to the modern day, from concept to launch.

Working out of Polaroid Originals offices in Berlin, my role was to design and execute the UI of the brand new e-commerce site and online magazine. Working across animation, art direction and design, I helped translate the revamped brand to the modern day, from concept to launch.
Following the rebrand of ‘The Impossible Project’ to ‘Polaroid Originals’, this project aimed to take a revamped heritage identity and propel it into the digital age for the iconic brand’s relaunch. The project encompassed strategy, graphic system, art direction, an online magazine, and a Shopify store.
The design system references the iconic rainbow logo, which becomes both a filtering mechanism on the site and a guide for art direction. Animations and digital interactions inspired by the mechanics of a Polaroid camera bring the brand to life on the website, while the photography and art direction celebrate Polaroids heyday of the 70’s & 80’s.












This project aimed to revamp Polaroid’s heritage identity, and propel it into the digital age for the iconic brand’s relaunch. Working out of Polaroid Original’s headquarters in Berlin, the project encompassed strategy, graphic system, art direction, an online magazine, and an award-winning Shopify store. Animations and digital interactions inspired by the mechanics of a Polaroid camera bring the brand to life on the website, while the photography and art direction celebrate the 70’s (as captured by Polaroid at the peak of its popularity) and reference the iconic rainbow logo.
